1929 United Kingdom general election

A general election was held in the United Kingdom on Thursday 30 May 1929, after the previous Parliament was dissolved on 10 May. It resulted in a hung parliament: the Conservative Party, led by Prime Minister Stanley Baldwin, won the most votes, but Ramsay MacDonald's Labour Party won the most seats in the House of Commons.
