1987 United Kingdom general election in England

On Thursday 11 June 1987, the 1987 United Kingdom general election was held in England, to elect all 650 members of the House of Commons, with 523 constituencies being in England. The Conservative Party won an overall majority of English seats for the third successive election and enough seats to seal a UK-wide majority already within England's borders.
