1997–1999 anti-Christian violence in Gujarat

From late 1997 to early 1999, a wave of attacks against Christians occurred in and around Dangs district in southeastern Gujarat in India. The attacks reportedly started at the end of 1997, before peaking during the Christmas of 1998 after the anti-Christian rallies in the Dangs District by the Hindu Jagaran Manch.
