2005 United Kingdom general election in England

On Thursday 5 May 2005, the 2005 United Kingdom general election was held in England, to elect all 646 members of the House of Commons, with 529 constituencies being in England. The governing Labour Party under Tony Blair won an overall majority of seats for the third successive election.
