Seattle Jewish Federation shooting

The Seattle Jewish Federation shooting took place in Seattle, United States on July 28, 2006, at around 4:00 p.m., when Naveed Afzal Haq shot six women, one fatally, at the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle building. Before he began shooting, Haq shouted, "I am a Muslim American, angry at Israel." After his first trial ended in a mistrial, Haq was convicted in December 2009 and sentenced to life without parole plus 120 years.
