2010 Atlantic hurricane season

The 2010 Atlantic hurricane season was the most active hurricane season since 2005 and the first of three consecutive active hurricane seasons, each with 19 named storms. This well above average activity included 12 hurricanes, equaling the number that formed in 1969.
