2010–2011 Queensland floods

The 2010–2011 Queensland floods were a series of major floods that affected much of Queensland, Australia, between December 2010 and January 2011. Prolonged and extensive rainfall fell across large areas of the state on catchments already saturated by a strong La Niña event, following the wettest December on record for Queensland.
