The 2014 Asian Games (2014년 아시아 경기대회/2014년 아시안 게임), officially known as the 17th Asian Games (제17회 아시아 경기대회/제17회 아시안 게임) and also known as Incheon 2014 (인천2014), were a pan-Asian multi-sport event held from 19 September to 4 October 2014 in Incheon, South Korea. On 17 April 2007, Incheon was awarded the right to host the games, defeating Delhi, India and was the third city in South Korea after Seoul (1986) and Busan (2002).
