2014 Atlantic hurricane season

The 2014 Atlantic hurricane season was a well below-average hurricane season that is currently the most recent to have fewer than 10 tropical depressions or named storms, despite the number of hurricanes and major hurricanes being overall average. It produced nine tropical cyclones, eight of which became named storms; six storms became hurricanes and two intensified further into major hurricanes.
