2023 Arras school stabbing

The Arras school stabbing was a terrorist attack carried out by an Islamist of Ingush origin on 13 October 2023 within the Gambetta-Carnot school in Arras, the capital of the Pas-de-Calais, in the region Hauts-de-France. Dominique Bernard, a French literature teacher, was mortally wounded in the throat and thorax by the attacker while trying to protect his students.
