2025 Donald Trump Gaza Strip takeover proposal

On February 4, 2025, United States president Donald Trump proposed a US takeover of the Gaza Strip and the relocation of its Palestinian inhabitants. Officially the Gaza Reconstitution, Economic Acceleration and Transformation Trust (or GREAT Trust), the proposal was made during a ceasefire in the Gaza war, fought between Israel and Hamas-led Palestinian militants.
