The perpetrator, 53-year-old naturalized US citizen, Ndiaga Diagne, opened fire with a pistol from a vehicle at people inside and outside the bar before parking, and used an AR-15–style rifle to shoot at people along West Sixth Street and its connecting roads before he was fatally shot by police.
