2026 Penza Oblast mobilisation

Mobilisation in Penza Oblast is a phenomenon of forced mobilisation of civilians to join the Russia's war against Ukraine, reported since mid-June 2026 in the Penza Oblast of the Russian Federation. In mid-June 2026, independent watchdogs and local media reports from Penza Oblast described large-scale operations in which military commissariats, including Russian security forces, police officers and military enlistment officers, conducted street detentions and door-to-door sweeps, and pressured individuals, including people with debts or under administrative supervision, to sign military contracts with the Russian Ministry of Defence.
