Holy See–United States relations

The current Ambassador to the Holy See is Brian Burch, who replaced the ad interim Chargé d'Affaires Laura Hochla, on September 13, 2025. The Holy See is represented by its apostolic nuncio, Archbishop Gabriele Giordano Caccia, who assumed office in March 2026.
