2026 visit by Vladimir Putin to China

From 19 to 20 May 2026, the president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, paid a state visit to China at the invitation of Chinese leader Xi Jinping. This visit was Putin's 25th visit to China, coinciding with the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the strategic partnership between China and Russia, the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Good-Neighborliness and Friendly Cooperation between China and Russia, and the start of the China-Russia Year of Education.
