List of IPv6 transition mechanisms

To increase the deployment of IPv6 on the Internet, various transition mechanisms have been proposed to ease this process. Since IPv6 is not directly interoperable with its predecessor protocol IPv4, transition mechanisms are designed to permit hosts on either network type to communicate with any other host.
