789th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion

789th Anti-Aircraft Artillery (Automatic Weapons) Battalion was an anti-aircraft artillery battalion of the United States Army during World War II. The 789th AAA-AW BN was created on April 30, 1943 at Camp Stewart. The battalion moved through several locations in the United States until leaving for England on May 13, 1944 and arriving in England on May 25, 1944.
