Affine differential geometry

In differential geometry, affine differential geometry is the study of differential invariants of curves, surfaces, and higher-dimensional submanifolds under affine transformations. Its equiaffine form, often called equiaffine differential geometry, studies invariants under affine transformations that preserve a fixed volume form.
