Afghan Australians (Dari: استرالیایی های افغانتبار Ostorâliyâi-hāye Afghān tabar, Pashto: د اسټرالیا افغانان Da Asṭrālyā Afghanan) are Australians tied to Afghanistan either by birth or by ancestry. The first Afghans who migrated to Australia arrived mid 19th century as cameleers.
