Sir Alexander Allan, 1st Baronet

Sir Alexander Allan, 1st Baronet (c. 1764 – 14 September 1820) was a British painter and politician. He worked with the East India Company mainly in India where he joined as a cadet and rose to the position of a major, while also making numerous political connections.
