Alliance (Australian Capital Territory)

The Alliance, sometimes known as the Liberal–Residents Rally Alliance, was a political alliance between the Liberal Party, Residents Rally and Independents Group in the Australian Capital Territory Legislative Assembly. The Alliance was formed in December 1989 after a no-confidence motion against the sitting Labor Party government saw Liberal leader Trevor Kaine take power.
