Andron (architecture)
Andron (Greek: ἀνδρών, andrōn) or andronitis (ἀνδρωνῖτις, andrōnitis) is part of a Greek house that is reserved for men, as distinguished from the gynaeceum (γυναικεῖον, gynaikeion), the women's quarters. The andrōn was used for entertaining male guests.
