Antagonism (phytopathology)

Antagonism (in phytopathology) occurs when one organism inhibits or slows down the growth of a plant disease-causing organism, such as harmful bacteria or fungi. Most plants can host a variety of pathogens and are often infected by multiple species simultaneously.
