Aristaeus

Aristaeus (; Ancient Greek: Ἀρισταῖος, romanized: Aristaios) was the mythological culture hero credited with the discovery of many rural useful arts and handicrafts, including beekeeping. He was the son of the huntress Cyrene and Apollo.
