Armed Conflict Location & Event Data (abbreviated ACLED) is a non-profit organization registered in the United States that specializes in the real-time collection, analysis, and mapping of data on political violence and protest events around the world. It was founded in 2005 as a research initiative by political scientist Clionadh Raleigh.
