Asset management plan period

An Asset Management Plan (AMP) period is a five-year time period used in the English and Welsh water industry. It is used by the UK Water Services Regulation Authority, Ofwat, to set allowable price increases for the privately owned water companies and for the assessment of many key performance indicators such as water quality and customer service.
