Augustin Bourry

Augustin-Étienne Bourry (27 December 1826 in La Chapelle-Largeau, Deux-Sèvres – 1 September 1854 in Tibet), known as Augustin Bourry, was a priest with the Society of Foreign Missions of Paris. He entered the minor seminary at an early age to become a missionary and was ordained a priest despite many difficulties, particularly at school.
