Australia–Canada relations

Australia and Canada have a longstanding positive relationship fostered by shared history, culture, and political institutions. Both countries are federal Westminster parliamentary constitutional monarchies in personal union with each other as Commonwealth realms, sharing King Charles III as head of state (legally, the King is equally and separately the sovereign of both countries, as King of Australia and Canada).
