The Bahārna (Arabic: بُحارنة, romanized: Buharnah; or Arabic: بَحارنه, romanized: Baharneh), are an ethnoreligious group of Shia Muslim Arabs indigenous to the historical region of Bahrain. Generally regarded by scholars as the original inhabitants of Eastern Arabia, most Bahraini citizens are Baharna.
