Barycenter (astronomy)

In astronomy, the barycenter (or barycentre; from Ancient Greek βαρύς (barús) 'heavy' and κέντρον (kéntron) 'center') is the center of mass around which two or more bodies orbit. A barycenter is a dynamical point, not a physical object.
