The Battle of Kircholm, 17 September 1605, took place during the Polish–Swedish War (1600–1611) near Kircholm, now Salaspils in Latvia. A Swedish expedition besieging Riga was defeated by a smaller Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth relief force and abandoned the attempt.
