Battle of Qamishli (2021)

The Battle of Qamishli (2021) took place between security forces of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) and forces loyal to the Syrian Arab Republic in the northeastern Syrian city of Qamishli. The clashes began on 20 April 2021, after the Asayish targeted a vehicle carrying pro-Syrian government NDF militia fighters.
