Bednota

Bednota (Russian: Беднота, "Poverty" or "The poor") was a daily newspaper designed and focused toward a peasant readership that was issued by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union in Moscow, Russia, from March 1918 to January 1931. It has been described as the first Soviet newspaper "designed primarily for the lower-class or common reader".
