Bektashism

Bektashism (Turkish: Bektaşîlik, Albanian: Bektashi) is a Sufi order of Islam that evolved in 13th-century western Anatolia and became widespread in the Ottoman Empire. It is named after the walī (saint) Haji Bektash Veli, with adherents called Bektashis.
