Beveridge curve

A Beveridge curve, or UV curve, is a graphical representation of the relationship between unemployment and the job vacancy rate. The curve is a downward sloping locus of unemployment and vacancy combinations that are consistent with the flow into unemployment equalling flow of unemployment.
