Biomechanics of baseball pitching is the study of the mechanical and physiological processes involved in throwing a baseball from the mound. The biomechanics of baseball pitching examines how the lower body, trunk and upper limbs work together through a coordinated kinetic chain to generate and transfer energy to the baseball.
