Black–green coalition

A black–green or green–black coalition (black–green or green–black for short) is a coalition between a conservative and/or Christian Democratic party (party colour black) and a green party (party colour green). In Germany, a black–green coalition (German: schwarz-grüne Koalition) refers to a government with the participation of one or both of the Union parties: the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU) and the Christian Social Union in Bavaria (CSU), and the Alliance 90/The Greens.
