Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act, 1976

The Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act, 1976 is an Act of the Parliament of India aimed at abolishing the bonded labour system. The Act was enacted on 9 February 1976 but was deemed to have come into force on 25 October 1975, the date on which the Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Ordinance, 1975 was promulgated.
