Botanical Survey of India

Botanical Survey of India (BSI) is an Indian governmental research institution headquartered in Kolkata. It was founded on 13 February 1890 during the British Raj, and is currently under the purview of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change of the Government of India.
