The APR (Advanced Precision Rifle) is a bolt-action sniper rifle designed by the Thun-based Brügger & Thomet in 2003 as an evolution of the French PGM Précision. == History == In 2003, B&T who was then a long-time supplier of PGM rifles, competed in a tender to sell the French-made but Swiss modified rifle to the Singapore Army, which at the time was planning to acquire a new 7.62×51mm NATO precision rifle.
