Some of these collections are also called Tipiṭaka (Pali: [tipiʈɐkɐ]) or Tripiṭaka (Sanskrit: [tɾi.pi.ʈɐ.kɐ]) , meaning "Triple Basket", a traditional term for the three main divisions of some ancient canons.
