Buka Bhaona (transl. Mud pretense), also known as Pekjatra is a special bhaona held in conjunction with the Nandotsav on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami. The event is being held at Puronigudam in Nagaon district and Jamugurihat in Sonitpur district respectively.
