Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany

The Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany (German: Verdienstorden der Bundesrepublik Deutschland, or Bundesverdienstorden, BVO) is the highest federal decoration of the Federal Republic of Germany. It may be awarded for any field of endeavor.
