CIA activities in Vietnam

The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) conducted operations in Vietnam from the 1950s to the mid 1970s, before and during the Vietnam War. After the 1954 Geneva Conference, North Vietnam was controlled by communist forces under Ho Chi Minh's leadership.
