Calico Early Man Site

The Calico Early Man Site is a disputed archaeological site in an ancient Pleistocene lake located near Barstow in San Bernardino County in the central Mojave Desert of Southern California. In the 1960s, anthropologist, Louis Leakey, proposed the site contained artifacts created by early man, however, this proposal is not accepted by most archaeologists.
