Canadian Labour Congress
The Canadian Labour Congress, or CLC (French: Congrès du travail du Canada or CTC), is a national trade union centre, the central labour body in Canada to which most Canadian labour unions are affiliated. == History == === Formation === The CLC was founded on April 23, 1956, through a merger of the Trades and Labour Congress of Canada (TLC) and the Canadian Congress of Labour (CCL), the two major labour congresses in Canada at the time.
