Caofeidian District (simplified Chinese: 曹妃甸区; traditional Chinese: 曹妃甸區; pinyin: Cáofēidiān Qū), formerly known as Tanghai County (唐海县; 唐海縣; Tánghǎi Xiàn), is a newly developed district located in Tangshan in the Bohai Sea coastal area of Hebei Province, China. The district spans an area of 1,595 square kilometres (616 mi2), and has a population of about 352,100 as of 2020.
