Capo Palinuro Lighthouse (Italian: Faro di Capo Palinuro) is an active lighthouse located in the south-western Italy, roughly 40 miles (64 km) south-west of Salerno, in the southern part of Cilento. == Description == The lighthouse was built in 1870 and consists of a white octagonal prism tower, 14 feet (4.3 m) high, with balcony and lantern, rising from a 2-storey white keeper's house.
