Caramelo (dog)

The caramelo (Portuguese: [kaɾaˈmɛlu] ) is a mixed-breed, caramel‑colored dog type traditionally associated with a free-ranging lifestyle in Latin America. In addition to the honey-colored coat, the designation "vira-lata caramelo" (Brazilian Portuguese for 'caramel trashcan-tipper') also refers to the fact that the lack of pedigree is a major feature of its notability.
