Caregiver stress

Caregiver syndrome or caregiver stress is a condition that manifests exhaustion, anger, rage, or guilt resulting from unrelieved caring for a chronically ill person. This condition is not listed in the United States' Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, although healthcare professionals use the term in that country.
